Cutler Real Estate asked Sandy a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Sandy's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
I’ve been involved in real estate for over 20 years . I’ve owned and operated my own real estate investment company since 2000, so I’ve experienced real estate from both the investor side as well as the agent side. Before real estate, I spent many years in sales with a global cosmetics company. I loved the people side of sales, and I think that experience has carried over into what I do today.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
Real estate is fascinating, and honestly, I think it’s fun! There is always something new to learn and a new challenge around the corner. What really led me to pursue a career in real estate was the desire to make a positive impact on those around me. I believe real estate is one of the best ways people can build long-term wealth. I love being able to help people buy their first home, find the right home for their family, or make a smart investment that can benefit them for years to come.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
I live in Jackson Township and really love it here! I enjoy spending time at the local parks, being around so many great local businesses, and the strong sense of community that keeps us all together. I grew up in the City of Canton, so Stark County has always been my home. I especially enjoy going downtown and seeing all the changes and new businesses. It’s exciting to watch the city I grew up in grow and expand.
4. How do you spend your free time?
Most of my free time is spent with family and friends. I also enjoy reading, cooking, entertaining, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by people I care about and enjoying a good conversation.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
I’m really not much of a possessions person. If I could only keep five things, I’d probably skip the possessions altogether and take my peeps! The people in my life mean far more to me than anything I own.
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
